5. Coupon Promotions and Advertising (Local Deals)

  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all submitted details, including restrictions and expiration dates.

  • Worcester County News assumes no liability for errors, fulfillment disputes, or legal claims arising from these promotions.

6. Video Promotions

  • Worcester County News reserves the right to review, edit, or reject submitted content for video promotions to ensure it aligns with our editorial standards.

  • All fees for video promotions are non-refundable once the project begins.

  • The final video will remain the intellectual property of Worcester County News unless agreed otherwise in writing.

7. AI Disclosure

Worcester County News leverages Artificial Intelligence (AI) across various services to streamline processes, enhance customer interactions, and improve operational efficiency. This includes, but is not limited to, tools such as our AI Caller Assistant and content support systems. While AI assists in delivering a seamless experience, all outputs are carefully reviewed by our team of experts to maintain quality, accuracy, and compliance. By engaging with Worcester County News, you acknowledge and consent to the use of AI for these purposes.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on Worcester County News, including but not limited to articles, graphics, videos, and branding, is the exclusive property of Worcester County News or its licensors. We encourage customers and readers to share our news articles and Facebook posts to spread the word, provided that proper credit is given and the content is not altered or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

12. Chargebacks, Disputes, Nonpayment & Breach of Contract

Customer agrees to reimburse Worcester County News for any chargeback fees, processing costs, administrative expenses, penalties, or related losses incurred as a result of disputes or chargebacks filed in violation of these Terms, regardless of the outcome of such dispute.

By completing a purchase, Customer expressly agrees that initiating a chargeback or payment dispute for services that were delivered in accordance with these Terms constitutes a material breach of contract.

12.1 Dispute Resolution Requirement

Customer agrees to first contact Worcester County News directly and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve any billing or service-related concern prior to initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. Failure to do so constitutes a violation of these Terms.

12.2 No Retroactive Disputes

Chargebacks or disputes for prior billing cycles in which services were delivered, accessed, published, or otherwise made available are expressly prohibited.

Customer Cooperation Requirement: Customer acknowledges that certain services require timely completion of intake forms, questionnaires, approvals, or other requested materials. Failure to submit required information within a reasonable timeframe shall not constitute non-delivery of services. Charges remain valid, and such failure does not entitle Customer to refunds, credits, or chargebacks. Any dispute filed due to Customer’s failure to complete required steps will be deemed a violation of these Terms. Worcester County News is not responsible for delays or non-completion caused by Customer inaction, incomplete submissions, or failure to respond.

12.3 Content Ownership & Removal

All articles, listings, promotional materials, and digital content created by Worcester County News remain the intellectual property of Worcester County News unless otherwise stated in writing. In the event of nonpayment, reversed payment, chargeback, or breach of these Terms, Worcester County News reserves the right to remove, unpublish, disable, or revoke access to any content created for Customer without notice.

12.4 Account Termination & Platform Ban

Worcester County News reserves the right to immediately suspend or permanently terminate any account associated with chargebacks, excessive disputes, payment reversals, or violations of these Terms. Termination may include loss of access to services, removal from directories, and permanent ineligibility to participate on the platform.

12.5 Recovery of Costs

Customer remains financially responsible for all unpaid balances, chargeback fees, dispute costs, and administrative expenses incurred by Worcester County News as a result of Customer’s actions. Worcester County News reserves the right to pursue lawful recovery of such amounts.

12.6 No Waiver

Failure by Worcester County News to immediately enforce any provision of this section shall not constitute a waiver of its rights.

13. Recurring Services and Cancellation Policy

Many of our services are offered on a recurring basis to provide consistent and ongoing value to our clients. While your subscription will automatically renew each billing cycle, Worcester County News proudly operates under a no contracts, no commitments policy.

You are free to cancel your subscription at any time without penalty. To ensure cancellation is processed before the next billing cycle, please send an email to [email protected] at least 3 business days prior to your next billing date. Upon receipt of your cancellation request, your subscription will not renew for the following billing cycle.

Please note that cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, and no prorated refunds will be issued for partial billing periods unless otherwise stated.

Late Cancellations, Billing Responsibility & Business Day Definition: Cancellations submitted fewer than three (3) business days prior to the next scheduled billing date are considered late cancellations. In such cases, the upcoming billing charge is valid, authorized, and non-refundable, and the subscription will remain active through the end of the then-current billing cycle. Cancellation will take effect for the following billing cycle only.

Customer acknowledges and agrees that submitting a late cancellation request does not relieve Customer of payment responsibility for the current billing period and does not entitle Customer to a refund, credit, or charge reversal for that period.

For purposes of these Terms, “business days” are defined as Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, based on Eastern Time (ET).

Any chargeback or payment dispute filed for a billing cycle in which a late cancellation occurred constitutes a material breach of these Terms, as services for that billing period were properly authorized and made available. Customer remains financially responsible for all charges, fees, and costs associated with such disputes as outlined in Section 12. Submission of a cancellation request does not retroactively void charges already authorized for the current billing cycle.

14. Privacy Policy

We value your privacy. By using Worcester County News, you consent to the collection and use of your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

15. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Worcester County News reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page, and users are encouraged to review them regularly. Continued use of our services after changes indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
